Creation's calendar is managed by the Bureau of Seasons within the Celestial Bureaucracy. The Celestial Monitors of the Seasons and Weather are responsible for advancing the seasons throughout the year, while day and night (and the phases of the moon) progress as autonomous functions of the Unconquered Sun and Luna, respectively.
Seasons
There are five seasons in the year, named for the five elements: Air, Water, Earth, Wood, and Fire.
Months
There are three months in each season: Ascending, Resplendent, and Descending.
Weeks
There are four weeks in each month. The moon is full on the 12th through the 14th, there is a new moon on the 26th through the 28th, and there is a half moon on the 6th and 20th.
Days
There are seven days in each week: Sunday, Moonday, Marsday (or Fireday), Mercuryday (or Waterday), Jupiterday (or Woodday), Venusday (or Airday), and Saturnday (or Earthday). Each day is 25 hours long.
Calibration
At the end of the year is Calibration, when the gods reset the calendar. It is five days with no moon and no stars at night.
