Once per day, you may cast detect thoughts without using a spell slot or any components. When casting the spell in this fashion, you can read thoughts of creatures within 60 ft. instead of 30 ft. (If you have a spellcasting or pact casting feature, you can additionally cast detect thoughts using spell slots as normal.)
