Hearthstones are magical stones that form in the heart of a manse. While hearthstone magic items do not require attunement, they do require the use of a free hand to make use of under normal circumstances. As with weapons, shields, and spell focuses, you need to use an object interaction in order to draw or store a hearthstone.

Certain magic items may have hearthstone sockets, allowing you to gain a hearthstone's benefit without using another free hand.

Item Sockets Notes
Daiklave 1 see longsword
Grand Daiklave 3 see greatsword
Reaper Daiklave 1 see scimitar
Dire Lance 1 see lance
Wavecleaver Daiklave 2 see doube-bladed scimitar

All of the above only exist as magic items; any weapon enchantment which could be applied to the base equipment item can be found with the relevant number of hearthstone sockets.
