Force Grey defends Waterdeep, and is mainly composed of former members of the City Watch, City Guard, and adventurers. Force Grey is overseen by the Blackstaff. The current Blackstaff is a woman named Vajra Safahr.
An initiate to Force Grey is a Grey Hand Initiate. At rank 3 they become a Junior Grey Hand. At rank 10 they become a Senior Grey Hand. At rank 25 they become a Fore Grey Initiate. At rank 50 they become a Defender of Waterdeep.
