Waterdeep:Vajra Safahr

Vajra Safahr is the current Blackstaff. The Blackstaff is the High Wizard of Waterdeep and the leader of Force Grey. The Blackstaff is charged with using all the magic and resources at her disposal to defend the city against threats.

In her mid-thirties, Vajra is the youngest person to ever hold the office of Blackstaff. While she is not the most powerful wizard in the city, she is strong in her own right, and wields the legendary Blackstaff which is capable of controlling the Walking Statues of Waterdeep.

Vajra runs Blackstaff Academy, a school for mages, out of Blackstaff Tower.

Hlam the hermit

Your first interaction with Vajra saw her sending you to retrieve information from Hlam, a hermit living on Mount Waterdeep. You did not pry into why she couldn't do it herself, but Hlam's message did clue Vajra into the fact that there is now a Grand Game underway.
