|description=You drain necromantic energy from an undead creature, inducing a sluggish stupor. The target makes a Charisma saving throw. On failure, the target moves at half its normal speed for the duration of the spell. This speed reduction does not stack with ''[[spell:slow|slow]]'' or similar spells.
|description=Any number of target creatures in range that form an unbroken chain of creatures within 5 ft. of each other each gain +2 AC, and can use their reaction at the end of any other target's turn to move up to their speed. If, after any reaction movement, a target ends its turn out of formation (the creature is not linked to the rest of the group with an unbroken chain of creatures within 5 ft. of each other), the spell ends for that creature.

If the target's normal movement speed is less than 30 ft., instead the target is stunned until the start of your next turn, and the spell does not require concentration.
This spell does continue to function with only a single creature under its effects, but ''[[spell:shield-of-faith|shield of faith]]'' would be a superior spell for attempting to protect just one person.

(OOC: This is a conversion of the Tactical Formation spell from Pathfinder 1e)

Tactical Formation Requires concentration
Level Casting time Range/Area Components
3rd 1 Action 30 feet V, S
Duration School Attack/Save Damage/Effect
Requires concentration 10 Minutes Abjuration None Buff (...)

Any number of target creatures in range that form an unbroken chain of creatures within 5 ft. of each other each gain +2 AC, and can use their reaction at the end of any other target's turn to move up to their speed. If, after any reaction movement, a target ends its turn out of formation (the creature is not linked to the rest of the group with an unbroken chain of creatures within 5 ft. of each other), the spell ends for that creature.

This spell does continue to function with only a single creature under its effects, but shield of faith would be a superior spell for attempting to protect just one person.

Available for:
  • Artificer
  • Cleric
  • Paladin
  • Ranger
  • Torag*

* Clerics following this god may replace one of their 3rd level domain spells with this spell.
