You make the target an asymptomatic carrier for a host of virulent diseases. Creatures that end their turn within 5 ft. of the target are subjected to contagion. The target itself does not become diseased, and suffers no ill effects from this spell. Once plague bearer ends, the target is no longer contagious, though any creature it infected remains diseased.
At Higher Levels. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the duration increases by 1 minute for each slot level above 6th.
