(OOC: This is a conversion of the Teratoid Caress spell from Pathfinder 1e)

Level | Casting time | Range/Area | Components |
---|---|---|---|
3rd | 1 Action | Touch | V, S |
Duration | School | Attack/Save | Damage/Effect |
Conjuration | CON Save |
With a gentle caress, you infuse one living nonevil creature you touch with a blight of energy from the Abyss that feeds upon goodness and transforms flesh into monstrous deformity. The target can resist teratoid caress with a successful Constitution saving throw, but even on success, the target becomes incapacitated until the start of your next turn. The target is not incapacitated if they use a legendary resistance to pass the save (or choose to use one to prevent becoming incapacitated).
If the target fails the save, his body becomes infected with Abyssal energy and a small portion of his body distorts and grows hideous, reducing his Dexterity or Charisma score (chosen at random) by 1d4. This deformity is always unsightly and offensive. Thereafter, the victim suffers a -1 penalty on saving throws against spells and effects from evil creatures. Whenever subjected to a spell or effect from a good creature, the Abyssal energies seethe inside him, forcing another Constitution saving throw to resist losing an additional point of Dexterity or Charisma. If the subject is good aligned and is a cleric, paladin, druid, or ranger, they have disadvantage on concentration checks.
This is a curse, and can be removed with remove curse.
At Higher Levels. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the duration is concentration, up to 10 minutes. If you use a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the duration is 8 hours. If you use a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the duration is 24 hours. If you use a 9th level spell slot, the spell lasts until it is dispelled. Using a spell slot of 5th level or higher grants a duration that doesn't require concentration.
