Invisible Fortress:Elemental pole

The Elemental Poles are the cardinal directions of Creation. Because Creation is flat, rather than on a globe, there are five such directions and five corresponding poles.

• The elemental pole of water is located in the west. The pole of water is associated with the color black. The western ocean gives way to an infinity of water, before becoming a water-themed region of the Feywild.
• The elemental pole of fire is located in the south. The pole of fire is associated with the color red. The southern desert gives way to volcanoes and flame, before becoming a fire-themed region of the Feywild.
• The elemental pole of wood is located in the east. The pole of wood is associated with the color green. The eastern forests give was to trees with no crowns above and no ground below, before becoming a wood-themed region of the Feywild.
• The elemental pole of air is located in the north. The pole of wood is associated with the color blue. The northern glaciers give way to an infinity of ice, before becoming an ice-themed region of the Feywild.
• The elemental pole of earth is located underneath Mount Meru on the Blessed Isle. The pole of earth is associated with the color white. Many people believe that Creation revolves around the pole of earth.
