This spell allows you to add a creature's stolen face to or remove such a face that you've already applied from your own.
Before casting this spell to add a stolen face, you must remove the face and eyes of a creature that is your same size category and which has been dead for no longer than 10 minutes and place it over your own. Once you cast transplant visage, the creature's stolen skin magically melds with your own, making the expressions and eye color on your new face seem perfectly natural. While you retain your race and gender, your face is unmistakable for that of your victim's, and you gain a +10 bonus to Charisma (Deception

The effects are permanent, and do not leave any magical aura to be recognized by spells like detect magic.
You can add additional layers with additional faces, with the newest face being the only one visible. Transplant visage can also be used to remove the most recently-applied face, revealing the next face down as the topmost face crumbles to dust (it cannot be reused). This is the only way to remove a face short of true polymorph, wish, or a cleric's Divine Intervention.
