Waterdeep:Lord and Lady Cassalanter
Lord Victoro Cassalanter and Lady Ammalia Cassalanter own the Cassalanter Bank in Waterdeep. They are philantropists, and their home is decorated with holy symbols of Siamorphe, the demigod of nobles.
Children
The Cassalanters have three children: the fraternal twins Elzerina and Terenzio (turning 9 years old this year), and an older son Osvaldo, who has apparently died.
According to Lady Ammalia, the twins are cursed, and their souls will be taken by Asmodeus on their 9th birthday. The Cassalanters have discovered a ritual to save their children if they can perform it before then, but the ritual requires "one shy of a million gold coins", which they cannot supply without the gold from the Vault of Dragons.
Cult of Asmodeus
While exploring Cassalanter Villa, you discovered that the Cassalanters may be more deeply involved with the cult of Asmodeus, beyond their children simply being cursed.
- An unholy symbol of Asmodeus was found in a hidden compartment of a locked desk in Lord Victoro's study
- A hidden passage leading underneath the house opened into some kind of underground chamber, within which you could hear chanting
- A large group of hooded figures filed into the Cassalanter basement while you were robbing the Cassalanters of their Eye of Golorr
- After the incident at the Cassalanters' ball, their guards were replaced by bearded devils disguised as humans
