The criminal underworld of Waterdeep is now in a race to find the key to the secret vault, find the secret vault itself, and plunder its riches.

The Skull & Shackles campaign is a conversion of the Sull & Shackles adventure path from Pathfinder 1e into Dungeons & Dragons 5e.

Background and setting

Skull & Shackles is designed for levels 1-14; if you pursue just the main plot line, you will hit level 14 shortly before the final encounter. However, side quests and optional objectives may allow you to progress further. The campaign is pirate-themed, and the players a given considerable freedom to do as they please throughout most of the adventure.

Characters will be level 1 at the start of the campaign. Ability scores will be set using the standard point buy system. Each character gets a feat at level 1, either from their background or else selected from a short list.
