Waterdeep:Revenant's Rest

Revenant's Rest (formerly Trollskull Manor) was a tavern, but has gone unused for some time. Volothamp Geddarm purchased it based on rumors it was haunted, in order to conduct research for a book he is working on titled Volo's Guide to Spirits and Specters. Unable to make use of it as he had intended, and short on funds thanks to missing royalties from Volo's Guide to Monsters, Volo transferred the deed to to you, in lieu of the promised payment for rescuing Floon Blagmaar.

When exploring the manor for the first time, you discovered that the rumors of its haunting were true; after managing to calm the poltergeist by promising to restore the manor to its former glory, you determined that its name is Lif.

You have now renovated the building and reopened it as a tavern under the name Revenant's Rest.

Staff

Bartender

Lif the poltergeist acts as bartender, and the inspiration for the tavern's name. "Lif's Special" is a drink he can make which consists of ale floating above liquor. Nobody knows quite how he manages the perfect separation, but it is popular.

Server

Patric Nivka is a young Illuskan man whose parents kicked him out of their home for dating a half-elf girl. The attic storage has been converted into a bedroom for him so that he has a place to stay.

Cook

Reynardo Greenleaf is a half-elf man who uses magic to make his dishes come alive—sometimes literally! His service is not especially fast, but it is of excellent quality.
